Hi! My name is Ashley and I’ve been a fan of American Horror Story for a long time. I want to say maybe about 7 years. If I’m being honest, I’m really into anything that’s in the horror genre. I’ve always been interested in it and part of it might be because most of my family loves horror as well. Some people like roller coasters for that adrenaline rush and others like horror movies and shows. I absolutely hate theme park rides. They make me sick, so I’d rather stick to American Horror Story. Another thing about me is that I love film. After all, I am a film major. In addition to that, I love writing and art, so I’m minoring in these fields as well. So, basically, I like all art forms and I love creating art. Drawing, film-related work, photography, writing, you name it. It has always been something that I like to do and something that I enjoy.

I think my love for all things horror and film are why I like American Horror Story so much. In addition to that, I like that the show brings up deep topics. It gets people to talk about these “taboo” topics and helps start a conversation. I think that’s pretty cool. It’s just a show that separates itself from everything else on TV.

A little fun fact: I did happen to visit the house used in the first season of American Horror Story (Murder House). The house is located in Los Angeles, CA. I was able to see the house when I was on vacation with my family and family friend (she also likes the show). Other fans stopped by the house the same day we did, so we got to meet other people that liked the show as well. I find it cool that strangers can come together over something like a TV show.
